I'm lifting more than I ever did when I lost a bunch of weight in 2005. It's obviously hard to build muscle with my weight, activity level (elipictal 15-30 minutes 5x a week, 2 flag football team and dodgeball) and a 2000-2500 calorie daily intake. I'm supplementing with about 60 grams of protein most days, not nearly enough according to the experts but I feel it's better than nothing. My strength has improved and I can tell there has been some gain muscle wise.
I've pretty much stuck to the same foods 4 days a week.
1 Yogurt
1 Low cal energy drink
1 Breakfasty type protein bar
1-2 Bananas
0-1 Apples
1 Lean Cuisine Pizza
2 100 calorie packs of Doritos
1 100 calorie pack of cookies
2 string cheese
some wheat thins or triscuits
1 turkey sandwich with 1 slice american cheese
maybe a lower cal ice cream treat (50-150 cals)
1-2 milk and protein mix
I haven't grown tired of it yet. The only fast food I've done is Subway and Baja Fresh.
Weekends are harder for me but am still doing decently. I'm done typing now. I am tired and am going to a nice restaurant then a concert. I'm on 13 hours sleep for the past 3 nights, tonight won't help.

the wife brought home some fucking girl scount cookies yesterday. I don't normally care about sweets that much, but I love those samoas.
